Possibility to fly at night in conditions of visibility
VFR Night
Night flights
VFR — Night is a qualification category allowing flights to be carried out at night under ground visibility conditions.
The training is aimed primarily at coping with the increased psychological burden caused by reduced visibility, difficult spatial orientation and is carried out exclusively at airports with adequate equipment.
This part of the training is essential for all professional pilots and also for pilots who have flying as a hobby.
PPL (A)
It is a basic license necessary to start a career as a transport pilot. It authorises the holder to operate independently a single-engine aeroplane for which he has appropriate type training.
PIC CC - Pilot in Command Cross Country
It is a chapter of aviation training focused on navigation flights around the country carried out within Slovakia, but also in other countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Croatia and so on. Navigation flights are mainly planned to controlled areas and to larger domestic and international airports.
Nacht VFR
Night training according to the rules of flight under visibility is carried out exclusively at airports with adequate equipment. This part of the training is necessary for all professional pilots.
MEP - Multi-Engine Piston
Training and obtaining a CPL qualification entitles the pilot to operate in commercial aviation. It allows him to act as a commander of a single-pilot aircraft, or as a first officer of a multi-pilot aircraft, or as a flight instructor.
IR - Instrument Rating
Module designed to train pilots to fly according to the instruments. It forms one of the most important and challenging parts in the training of a transport pilot. This module includes theoretical training, flight simulator training and practical training.
CPL - Commercial Pilot License
Training and obtaining a CPL qualification entitles the pilot to operate
in commercial aviation. It allows him to act as a commander of a single-pilot aircraft, or as a first officer of a multi-pilot aircraft, or as a flight instructor.
Minimum requirements
Applicant must have a valid PPL (A) or LAPL (A) licence
The minimum age to qualify is 17
Prior to the first solo flight, the applicant must hold a Medical Certificate 1 or 2. Classes with examination of farbocite
After the start of the training, the holder must be a radiotelephony license
Theory
- The theoretical part of the training consists of at least 1 hour.
- During the training, the pilot is familiarized in detail with the differences between day and night flights in terms of flight technique, rules, procedures and the impact of increased load on a person.
- Theory classes are organized in our premises at the airport in Košice.
- The result of the preparation is an understanding of the requirements of night flights.

Practical teaching
The practical part of the training consists of 5 flight hours, divided into 2 nights.
Before the first flight, the pilot is examined from theoretical knowledge. After demonstrating knowledge, the pilot can begin to conduct flights with instructors.
