I found out about AeroJob on the Internet when I was looking for an aviation school located in Košice, which would give me the opportunity to combine my studies in Norway with flight training. I was extremely grateful for the flexibility provided — the opportunity to take theory online. From the very beginning I encountered a highly professional, helpful and at the same time friendly approach.I was very pleased that AeroJob offers training, the successful mastering of which leads directly to the cockpit of a transport aircraft.I perceive the instructors as “seasoned fighters” people” who are knowledgeable in their field.
They take a very responsible approach to training. In terms of technical support, the training planes are like in “cotton” — I noticed that AeroJob employs technicians with many years of experience. When I have any technical questions, they always answer me promptly. I highly recommend AeroJob!

Prvý kontakt s leteckou školou AeroJOB prebiehal v priestoroch školy, kde mi boli odprezentované možnosti výcvikov a dôležité vstupné požiadavky a informácie.
Vďaka leteckej škole AeroJOB a skvelému tímu inštruktorov som si splnil dlhoročný sen a budem ďalej pokračovať až do úrovne ATPL a kokpitu dopravného lietadla.
As a young boy in high school, I didn't know what to do with life, until once on vacation I told myself while traveling that piloting large transport planes was what I might enjoy. I started to take stock of what it takes, what the procedure is, what the conditions are and, most importantly, whether it is available as far as possible. I came across AeroJob completely by accident. Initially, I did not find anything about him on the Internet - the word gave the word, I was first to look at the plane, in a few weeks I came to an open day, had all the questions answered, and for half a year I already sat as a student on theory in the classroom. In two months I already tested at the Transport Office of the Slovak Republic and for the first time flew in the cockpit of an aircraft.
I had the opportunity to fly with many instructors. All of them build on their experience gained over the years in practice. Whether we are talking about pilots of airplanes of airlines, about the pilot of the emergency air service, about the air traffic controller in Košice, about one of the best aerial acrobats in Slovakia, up to the legend of the Slovak aviation - the commander of the aerobatic group Biele Albatrosy. During the training I had the opportunity to fly with almost every instructor working in Košice. The diversity of their fields of activity brings many different and very important knowledge and experiences beyond the curriculum that a person will actually use in flying and in life.
I got my first license while I was in high school and I never felt that flying in any way negatively affected other duties or leisure activities. I combined my university studies with my hitherto “hobby” and future dream of driving large transport aircraft and I am a student of the Faculty of Aviation of the Technical University in Košice. I have more time and space than I did in high school.
However, air training is a financially demanding affair, not to mention the “initially invisible” expenses for the raid required to continue the training. It should be objectively said that in Slovakia other organizations could be used for training, which would, for example, provide a private pilot's license at a lower price. However, there are several undeniable advantages of AeroJob — apart from the instructor team, which is the alpha and omega of training, that is, the environment — one absorbs air communication, phraseology and procedures much faster when flying from a managed international airport, not to mention encountering business traffic. In addition to these two main advantages, it is important to mention that AeroJob offers training from scratch to employment and works with many airlines. At AeroJob, they are able to transfer you from your first flight to a job interview with air carriers, for which they will prepare you with quality.
In my free time and as part of a raid of hours, I regularly rent a plane from AeroJob. After entering the calendar, if the plane is still free at that time, I am sure that when I arrive at the airport the plane will stand ready and checked by a very honest mechanic who will pick up, check and refuel the plane upon arrival. It is not a problem to take with you anyone you know and fly with them around Slovakia — the visitors really like the Tatras from the mountain. And not only to them, but also to me, every single time I return there, I am in silent amazement. Being above them and outside of all the problems of the ordinary world is a feeling that just does not get hung up:).
Everything has its pros and cons, and AeroJob Flight School is no exception, because nothing is perfect, but it must be said that AeroJob offers very high quality services at a very favorable price/performance ratio.
After a difficult year 2020 at our school, we believe in the successful return of aviation dorpavy and the associated flight training. For this reason, in 2021 we are expanding our fleet with new types of aircraft for complex training. We want to provide our clients with economical, but at the same time modern equipped aircraft. TECNAM P2006T, PIPER PA28 with GARMIN avionics and Cessna 172 will be added to our fleet. With this step, we want to support current and future clients and provide them with quality and effective training in Eastern and Western Slovakia.
As an aviation school, we strive to constantly improve and improve our services. One of the pillars of our school is our instructors. We carefully select the best ones and are happy to announce that even in 2021 our team has grown to several experienced instructors with many years of career in civil aviation. Thus, our students will have professional mentoring from professionals from practice throughout their training.
We are proud to announce that after hard work and long preparation, our AeroJob SK.ATO.17 school has been authorized to conduct advanced training and thus provide a comprehensive training portfolio from 0 to ATPL. It is another of the steps to ensure that our clients find everything under one roof and their training runs efficiently.
We would like to inform those interested in the career of a transport pilot that we have launched the teaching of ATPL theory in our school. Pupils have at their disposal professional instructors from the ranks of pilots of transport aircraft and a classroom equipped with the necessary aids.
Ing. Branislav Čop has over 26 years of professional experience as a commercial pilot. During his career, he flew for Fischer Air, ČSA, Travel Service, and Ryanair. He has accumulated more than 17,000 flight hours on various aircraft types, 14,000 of which were as a captain of the Boeing 737. As a type instructor on the Boeing 737, he has over 1,000 hours dedicated to type ratings and training. Currently, he works as a Boeing 737 captain for Ryanair.
Number of flight hours: 17,000
Qualifications: TRI B737, IRI (A)
In high school, I was deciding what to pursue next, and becoming a commercial pilot seemed interesting. During my time, there was only one comprehensive study path: studying at the University of Žilina. I majored in economics while simultaneously completing training as a commercial pilot. Admission required passing a rigorous selection process, including psychological tests, a flight medical exam, and achieving an average of 1.5% in mathematics.
The Boeing 737 was designed about 30 years ago and has undergone many improvements, culminating in the latest model, the 737 MAX. I have been flying this aircraft since 1996, accumulating roughly 15,000 flight hours. The 737 is a modern, highly efficient aircraft designed for 200 passengers and six crew members. It is incredibly reliable and handles exceptionally well both in the air and on the ground.
The greatest experience is flying through the first layer of clouds in the morning to find a blue sky and sunshine—a moment hidden from many people on the ground. It's a feeling that never gets old.
Being a commercial pilot takes you to many beautiful places that stay in your memory for life. During layovers, there is time to explore the cities and meet people from distant parts of the world. There are days when you depart from Prague at -25°C and land in Thailand at +35°C.
Initially, every new experience is captivating, like watching a sunrise from 14 km above the ground or the mesmerizing colors of a sunset. Flying over breathtaking landmarks like the Alps, Pyrenees, Himalayas, or Atlas Mountains makes you appreciate the beauty of Earth's surface.
Memorable moments also include flying the Hungarian Prime Minister with a classified diplomatic clearance and being welcomed on a red carpet—these are experiences you never forget.
One of the biggest advantages is that your work becomes your passion, and you must love what you do. It’s a continuous process of learning and acquiring new knowledge due to constant advancements in technology, materials, and aircraft design. As the equipment evolves dynamically, so must we. This creates a dynamic job environment where monotony has no place.
Another undeniable benefit is the financial rewards for this demanding profession.
You need to make the decision early and gradually work step by step toward your dream. Nowadays, apart from good health, you also need financial resources for training, which means making challenging decisions early in life, like taking out loans and repaying them monthly. These challenges shape young people, instilling traits like responsibility, punctuality, and precision—qualities essential for this demanding profession.
I would advise young aspiring pilots to always believe in themselves and pursue their dreams, just as generations of pilots before them have done. They have the rare opportunity to experience flying like birds in the sky.
High-quality training is the foundation for mastering the demanding training required to become a commercial pilot. The initial steps must be taken under the supervision of skilled instructors who lay a solid foundation for further development. It’s crucial to train on modern equipment to ensure a smooth training process without technical issues.
There is a significant difference between schools in terms of instructor quality and aircraft equipment. At AeroJOB, we have excellent, experienced instructors with years of training expertise. Ideally, schools should have instructors who actively fly as commercial pilots, as they possess valuable knowledge they can pass on to their students. Aircraft equipment evolves rapidly, and it is essential to have planes equipped with the latest instruments and technologies to ensure effective training and seamless transitions to more advanced aircraft.
The aviation industry is experiencing a massive boom, and the demand for pilots to operate modern aircraft is enormous. Many airlines leave their new planes grounded due to a shortage of pilots. This trend is expected to continue for several years, which is great news for aspiring pilots who can find work anywhere in the world today.
I wish them all the best in achieving their dream of flying and hope they feel happy when they wake up in the morning, looking forward to working in "the best office in the world."
