PPL (A)
Private pilot
PPL (A) is a basic license necessary to pursue a career as a transport pilot. It entitles the holder to operate independently a single-engine piston aeroplane for which he has appropriate type training.
At the same time, this license is intended for those interested who want to fly as part of their free time and flying is a hobby for them.
The aim of the training is to teach the trainee — the future pilot the correct procedure and habits in order to be able to conduct a safe and efficient flight according to the rules of flight in visibility (VFR).
PPL (A)
It is a basic license necessary to start a career as a transport pilot. It authorises the holder to operate independently a single-engine aeroplane for which he has appropriate type training.
PIC CC - Pilot in Command Cross Country
It is a chapter of aviation training focused on navigation flights around the country carried out within Slovakia, but also in other countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Croatia and so on. Navigation flights are mainly planned to controlled areas and to larger domestic and international airports.
Nacht VFR
Night training according to the rules of flight under visibility is carried out exclusively at airports with adequate equipment. This part of the training is necessary for all professional pilots.
MEP - Multi-Engine Piston
Training and obtaining a CPL qualification entitles the pilot to operate in commercial aviation. It allows him to act as a commander of a single-pilot aircraft, or as a first officer of a multi-pilot aircraft, or as a flight instructor.
IR - Instrument Rating
Module designed to train pilots to fly according to the instruments. It forms one of the most important and challenging parts in the training of a transport pilot. This module includes theoretical training, flight simulator training and practical training.
CPL - Commercial Pilot License
Training and obtaining a CPL qualification entitles the pilot to operate
in commercial aviation. It allows him to act as a commander of a single-pilot aircraft, or as a first officer of a multi-pilot aircraft, or as a flight instructor.
Minimum requirements
The age of the applicant must be at least 15 years old at the time of commencement of training.
The minimum age to obtain a PPL (A) license is 17 years old.
Prior to the first solo flight, the applicant must be a holder of Medical Certificate 2. Classes.
After the start of training, he must be a holder of a radiotelephony license.
Theory
- The theoretical part of the training consists of 100 teaching hours.
- 50 hours are taught before the start of the flight training itself, and 50 hours are carried out as part of the ground training, which is part of the flight part of the training.
- Theory classes are organized in our premises at the airport in Košice.
- The result of the preparation is a theoretical examination at the Transport Office in Bratislava.
For thorough preparation for the theoretical exam, each client has their own e-Learning account at their disposal.

Practical teaching
The practical part of the training consists of 45 flight hours.
Before the first flight, a physical familiarization with the aircraft is carried out at one of our airports, according to the manual for the type of aircraft.
After demonstrating knowledge of the manual, the pupil can begin to conduct flights with instructors, following each step by step.
